Don't use "I want YOU to ~" ... Why???

There are lot's of Japanese who use "I want YOU to ~"

But did you know we shouldn't use "I want YOU to ~",

because this means "you are ordering the person to do somethings",

It's not a request ! It's an order!!

Instead of using "I want YOU to ~"; it's better to USE

●Can you ~

●Could you ~

This way you can sound softer and polite.
